The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, fiends, and dark forces growing in power within the city.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
